Corns & Calluses

Callus

Corns and calluses are caused by pressure or friction on the skin of the foot. The skin's normal reaction is to thicken and harden in order to protect itself. This reaction often makes it uncomfortable to wear certain shoes or even walk. Corns or calluses are not serious conditions and, if treated regularly, will not prevent you from doing all the things you usually do. Call for an evaluation from one of our highly trained and dedicated podiatric doctors for this condition or any other questions you may have.
